Better Homes and Gardens magazine commissioned TRG Architects to design this 3600-square-foot house—their 1996 Home of the Year. The award-winning home combines the influence of 1890s, shingle-style design with contemporary concepts, including an undulating art gallery, a great room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a semi-circular library loft. Builders and homeowners alike have praised the efficiency and livability of this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom layout.
